You will make contributions to the teaching effort of the School and carry out activities to maintain and develop your scholarly, research and/or professional activities relevant to the profession or discipline. You will perform assigned teaching duties with students on and off campus with a standard of planning, preparation, presentation and assessment as necessary for students to achieve unit and course objectives.
Position Requirements
- Possession of an undergraduate and postgraduate nursing degree, and current progress towards a Masters qualification.
- Registered as a Nurse (Division 1) in Australia, evidence of meeting NMBA Recency of Practice registration standards.
- Familiar with University standards and academic writing, including how to research, write and reference assignments.
- Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate University students.
- Strong understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education.
- Ability to engage and work effectively with students and colleagues.
- Ability to develop innovative teaching materials that ensure student learning outcomes.
- You will be expected to hold vaccinations in relation to the COVID-19 immunisation should your CQUniversity role require you to attend any setting / venue / event where there is a specific entry requirement for you to hold these vaccinations, as per relevant State Government directives.
