CQUniversity Library delivers high quality services and collections to support the learning, teaching and research goals of the University. In this position you will be a member of the Discovery Services team responsible for the administration and management of digital library systems and applications. 

 

You will bring to the position a strong customer service focus, an enthusiasm to work in a cross-team, cross-campus environment and you will use your professional and technical skills to support and enhance the Digital Library experience.

 

As part of the Digital Services Directorate, the Library fosters an innovative and agile ‘One Library One Team’ environment with a focus on collaboration, staff development and keeping up with emerging trends in academic libraries and user experience. Flexible work arrangements and campus location can be negotiated.

Position Requirements

 

  • Eligible for associate or allied field membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
  • Knowledge of contemporary library practices, processes and concepts relating to the provision of service delivery and operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, liaison and consultation skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to provide advice and apply technical skills to assist with complex technical enquiries and issue resolution.
  • Ability to use systems and technologies for the delivery of library services.
