  • Total Remuneration $123,737 to $137,091 pa (including salary of $104,560 to $115,844 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
  • Equivalent Hourly Rate: $55.27 to $61.24 per hour

The school is seeking a motivated and experienced VET Teacher to deliver the Certificate III Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Certificate III in Horticulture and Certificate III in Parks and Gardens, including delivery to rural and remote communities. You will utilise flexible, blended and distributed learning techniques, options and products for innovative delivery and assessment solutions to meet the changing needs of various client groups.

Position Requirements

 

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Graduate Certificate in Adult Education (or equivalent) or higher-level qualification in adult education.
  • Possession of Certificate III or higher in Conservation and Ecosystem Management, Certificate III in Horticulture or Certificate III in Parks and Gardens (or equivalent vocational qualification) or a relevant higher-level qualification.
  • Current Industry experience in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or Horticulture.
  • Demonstrated capacity for best practice in the management of teaching and learning activities including delivery, assessment and evaluation.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive and quality client service.
