As an Associate Lecturer in Nursing, you’ll contribute to high‑quality teaching, curriculum development and student supervision while continuing to build your academic and professional expertise.

 

You’ll deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and clinical learning experiences across both on‑campus and online modes, supporting students’ success and helping prepare a confident, capable nursing workforce. With your professional credibility and strong communication skills, you’ll play an important part in shaping the next generation of nurses.

 

This role also provides opportunities to participate in research, contribute to scholarly activity and collaborate with industry partners as you grow your academic career.

Position Requirements

 

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1), with demonstrated compliance with NMBA Recency of Practice standards.
  • Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Possession of relevant postgraduate qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver high‑quality, innovative courses using a range of teaching approaches, including flexible and multi‑campus delivery.
  • Proven capability in teaching and supervising undergraduate students, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills that contribute positively to team culture.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
