About the role


We are seeking a visionary leader to join our dynamic team as an Associate Professor in Nursing, with a focus on postgraduate education. You will play a pivotal role in developing, enhancing, and leading the Master of Nursing (Graduate Entry), which provides a pathway to nursing registration (Division 1). Your role includes curriculum development, accreditation, fostering interprofessional collaboration, mentoring future nursing professionals, driving research excellence, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our postgraduate programs.

Position Requirements

 

  • Hold a doctoral qualification with significant experience in nursing.
  • Understanding of current professional and educational issues in the domain. 
  • Demonstrated ability to provide inspiring leadership in research, teaching, and academic governance.
  • Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation using flexible modes of delivery. 
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate higher education students.
  • This role includes governance responsibilities within the school, such as Head of Course.
