In this role, you will develop and deliver high-quality teaching across a range of medical science courses, coordinate units, and support student learning through lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions. You’ll contribute to curriculum development, supervise honours and postgraduate research, and conduct research independently or within larger projects. The role encompasses assessment and grading, student consultation, and participation in school committees and administrative duties.

Position Requirements

  • Relevant teaching qualification (PhD, MBBS, MD, MB ChB, or equivalent) or willingness to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
  • Proven experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision, and employing multi-modal delivery methods.   
  • Proven excellence in research with peer-reviewed publications in international/national journals of high repute and successful research grant applications.
  • Experience in medical program teaching (preferred). 
  • Research involvement aligned with departmental strengths, with a readiness to secure external grants (preferred).
