CQUniversity is seeking a motivated Lecturer in Paramedicine to join our collaborative team and help shape the next generation of paramedics.

Our School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences delivers in-demand qualifications in a supportive, research-led environment. The Bachelor of Paramedicine, accredited by the Paramedicine Board of Australia, provides students with a strong foundation for a career in paramedicine.

As a Lecturer, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences across lectures, simulation and clinical-focused activities. You’ll bring your industry expertise into the classroom, support students on campus and in the field, and contribute to curriculum development, unit coordination, research and scholarship.

Through simulation, clinical learning and engaging teaching, you’ll help students build the practical skills and confidence they need to succeed as paramedics. Access to leading facilities and strong professional networks will support your teaching and ongoing professional development.

Position Requirements

• Completion of an undergraduate degree in Paramedicine, with postgraduate qualifications highly regarded.
• Teaching qualification or willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
• Proven ability to contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation, particularly using flexible modes of delivery.
• Experience teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, across a range of learning environments.
• Strong capacity to engage and collaborate effectively with industry partners, community stakeholders, and professional networks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to contribute positively to team culture and academic collaboration.
• Experience in the development and delivery of low to high-fidelity clinical simulation (highly desirable).
