Your New Team
You will be joining the Backbone Team supporting Gladstone Region engaging in action Together (GRT), a collective impact project under the Stronger Places, Stronger People initiative of the Australian Government in partnership with Queensland Government. Working alongside the community, the team supports a place-based, community-led journey to improving community wellbeing.

Your New Role
In this role, you will support the Backbone Team to deliver day-to-day administrative, operational and project tasks to enable the timely, effective and efficient implementation of the GRT accountabilities.

We’re seeking a proactive Community Engagement & Administration Support Assistant to help build strong community connections and support projects that promote opportunity, equity and quality of life for all.

Position Requirements

 

  • Ability to confidently communicate and liaise with a wide range of people and demonstrate a strong customer service focus.
  • Able to solve relatively straightforward problems and identify opportunities to improve work activities.
  • Flexible and comfortable working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software products.
  • Administration or Office Support experience is beneficial.
