Help shape the future of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), and innovation in the Gladstone and Central Queensland region. In this dynamic role, you will lead the development and implementation of initiatives that inspire participation in hydrogen-focused STEM programs and community outreach. Collaborating with key stakeholders, you will design and deliver engaging learning experiences that foster a deep understanding of the hydrogen industry. Your work will ensure the seamless connection between education, industry, and community through hands-on activities and strategic partnerships. You will contribute to CQUniversity’s research efforts by managing data collection, analysis, and reporting, playing a key role in evaluating the impact of STEM initiatives.

Position Requirements

 

  • Understanding of the local science, research, industry and innovation ecosystems. 
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering meaningful activities which achieve the learning outcomes. 
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and provide guidance in project based work. 
  • Experience leading event organisation and meeting deadlines. 
  • Completed four years of tertiary study in the relevant discipline and have relevant work experience.
