We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our Facilities Management team at our Mackay campus, providing a wide range of general support services to ensure prompt and reliable assistance across the University.
In this role, you will assist with office moves, event setup, furniture relocation, and equipment delivery across the University. You will support other campuses as needed and provide assistance to tradespeople, including carpenters, plumbers, electricians, and HVAC technicians. Your responsibilities will also include general maintenance tasks such as painting, lock repairs, changing light bulbs, and Test and Tag. You will help maintain the campus grounds by operating equipment like tractors, mowers, and whipper-snippers to keep the campus neat and tidy. Additionally, you will clean and maintain fleet vehicles and perform minor servicing of tools and equipment.

Position Requirements
- Experience in building maintenance, general services, including office moves, event setup, and assisting tradespeople.
- Proficiency in computer systems and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) compliance.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and manage urgent tasks.
- Physical fitness for manual tasks and willingness to work in areas requiring hearing protection.
- Open Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory).
