CQUniversity is seeking a proactive Facilities Officer to join our Facilities Management Directorate. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of campus facilities and provide essential support services.

Your responsibilities will include maintenance, event setup, office relocations, and groundskeeping. You’ll work both independently and as part of a team, often in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Flexibility, initiative, and a strong customer service ethic are key to success in this role.

Position Requirements

• Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience; or equivalent relevant experience or combination of relevant experience and education/training.
• Ability to perform a variety of tradesman assistance tasks under direction from a qualified tradesman including basic maintenance and servicing to tools and equipment such as mowers, whipper- snippers and irrigation repairs.
• Ability to perform a wide range of tradesman assistance tasks under direction from a qualified tradesman and basic maintenance and servicing to tools and equipment such as mowers, whipper- snippers and irrigation repairs.
• Knowledge of Workplace, Health and Safety requirements and demonstrated ability to work in compliance with WH&S provisions.
