The Queensland Centre for Domestic and Family Violence Research (QCDFVR), within the School of Nursing, Midwifery, and Social Sciences, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Research Worker to assist in a range of important research activities aimed at improving understanding and responses to domestic and family violence.
As a Research Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of QCDFVR and other relevant staff with research tasks and projects in line with the Centre’s strategic growth priorities. You will contribute to the development of applied research programs and work alongside researchers, stakeholders, and university staff to further QCDFVR’s mission and impact.
You will utilise your exceptional communication and attention to detail skills to assist in the conduct of research programs and the preparation of reports, papers, and articles for a variety of audiences.

Position Requirements
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex issues clearly.
- Experience in qualitative and/or quantitative research and data analysis.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, contributing to project outcomes and achieving team goals.
- A degree in a field related to domestic and family violence, or an advanced diploma/associate degree with at least 2 years of relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
- Proficiency in using university operating systems, including word processing, spreadsheet, database software, and email.
- Experience in managing research projects. (Desirable)
