  • Total Remuneration $114,962 to $123,815 pa (including salary of $97,145 to $104,626 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Help shape meaningful pathways to higher education for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and communities. CQUniversity is seeking two Senior Indigenous Engagement Officers to join our Indigenous Engagement Team.

In this role, you will help develop and deliver programs, initiatives and engagement activities that support and advance Indigenous student success. You will build meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, schools, industry, community organisations and University stakeholders to create opportunities and support positive pathways into higher education.

Position Requirements

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and societies, with the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.
  • Sound understanding of equity and social justice principles.
  • Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of CQUniversity’s policies, procedures, and relevant legislation within the higher education sector.
