  • Total Remuneration $123,737 to $137,091 pa (including salary of $104,560 to $115,844 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) – with the opportunity for overtime
  • Equivalent Hourly Rate: $53.66 to $59.46 per hour
  • Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained

Position Requirements

  • Possession of a relevant qualification in automotive heavy vehicle, mobile plant and diesel engine technology, diesel fitting engineering or similar.  
  • Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122), if not already completed. 
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  • Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to the training/assessment being delivered.

Desirable

  • Dual-trade candidates, particularly those with a qualification in Auto Electrical or another complementary trade
