• Continuing, Full-Time
• School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences
• CQUniversity, Gladstone, Mackay, Townsville, Rockhampton or Work from Home (Relocation support available)
• Total Remuneration $105,766 to $120,134 pa (including salary of $89,374 to $101,515 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained

CQUniversity are currently seeking applications from appropriately qualified teachers for our Community Services courses.  As a TAFE Teacher in Community Services, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to students enrolled in various community services courses, such as child, youth and family intervention, youth work and mental health.

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
• Possession of relevant vocational qualification/s at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered: industry qualification (certificate, trade certificate, diploma, degree or masters).
• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher qualification in adult education, or equivalent, or a qualification that enables registration as a secondary school teacher in any state of territory plus the Assessor Skill Set or VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skills Set.
