• School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences
• CQUniversity Rockhampton, Townsville, Mackay, Cairns, Gladstone or Emerald with negotiable work-from-home arrangements (Excluding SEQ)
• Total Remuneration $123,737 to $137,091 pa (including salary of $104,560 to $115,844 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• Equivalent Hourly Rate: $ 55.28 to $ 61.25 per hour

As a TAFE Teacher – Community Services, you will design and deliver high-quality vocational education and training that meets industry standards and supports a diverse range of learners. You’ll teach in classroom, online, and workplace settings, maintain strong industry connections, and ensure compliance with VET and RTO requirements.

Position Requirements

• Mental Health Certificate IV qualification or higher, Diploma of Community Services or higher, or an Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Case Management CHC62015.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher qualification in Adult Education (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to design, deliver, and assess vocational education and training across diverse learning environments (classroom, online, workplace).
• Strong ability to engage and support learners from diverse backgrounds and maintain effective industry relationships.
