CQUniversity’s School of Business and Law  is strengthening its digital capability and expanding the way AI supports learning, teaching and operations. As part of this focus, we are seeking a skilled professional to help drive practical, high impact improvements across the School.

 

As the AI and Automation Officer, you will design, coordinate and manage generative AI chatbots and automation initiatives that enhance teaching quality, student engagement and operational effectiveness. You will integrate AI across the School, monitor compliance, provide technical guidance, and work closely with academic leaders and Digital Services to ensure solutions meet curriculum, policy and accreditation requirements.

 

You will bring strong experience with GenAI tools, low code development and prompt engineering, along with the ability to interpret policy, solve problems and support change across a large and complex environment. Your work will contribute to continuous improvement and meaningful innovation that strengthens student outcomes and supports an engaged, future focused School community.

Position Requirements

 

  • Strong knowledge of generative AI tools, low code development and chatbot design.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption, change management and ongoing improvement.
  • Skilled in problem solving, policy interpretation and working independently with a high level of accuracy.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence, consult and collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Able to coordinate projects, prepare clear reports and support deployments within required timeframes.
