Working at CQUniversity
As an Advancement Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting CQUniversity’s alumni, advancement and philanthropy strategies through high-quality administrative and operational support. This is a fast-paced position where your organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be essential.
Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you’ll be maintaining records in the CRM, managing donor contracts, handling financial processes, and ensuring the integrity of data across multiple systems. You’ll also contribute to tailored reporting and communications that showcase the impact of philanthropic initiatives.
Success in this position will require strong customer service skills, a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, and the ability to apply critical thinking to solve problems, improve processes and deliver accurate, timely outcomes.

Position Requirements
- Experience in customer service, membership administration, sales, or marketing.
- Strong interpersonal and client service skills, with a genuine enjoyment of building relationships and communicating with diverse stakeholders.
- Have strong attention to detail, time management, and organisational skills.
- Proficient in business software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and corporate systems.
- Familiarity with FinanceOne and/or SugarCRM software package (Desirable).
