Join our Financial Accounting team and play a vital role in supporting the University’s financial reporting and compliance functions. In this dynamic position, you’ll assist with the preparation and analysis of financial data, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting across a range of activities including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and asset management.
You'll work collaboratively with Financial Accountants to ensure data accuracy and timely updates in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. This role also provides support to the University’s subsidiaries, contributing to functions such as accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting and reporting. You'll be involved in special projects and reviews, while building effective working relationships across the Finance Teams and with external stakeholders.

Position Requirements
- General understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills including liaising and advising staff at all levels about finance related matters and liaising effectively with external stakeholders as required.
- Knowledge in the use of large financial information systems and business support software.
- Ability to accurately enter information and data into systems.
