The College of Psychology within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences emphasises an evidence-based approach to health and wellbeing for individuals, groups, organisations, and communities. Our diverse team of innovative academics are leading researchers actively engaged with local communities and industry.

As a Clinical Registrar, you will mentor students at the CQUniversity Psychology Wellness Centre and provide psychological services to clients. Reporting to the Director, you will collaborate with Clinic Supervisors and Administration Officers, enhancing your scholarly and professional skills in the field. You will also manage teaching responsibilities both on and off campus, ensuring thorough planning and assessment to help students achieve their goals.

This role is crucial in delivering high-quality services that positively impact the wellbeing and success of our students and clients, offering a valuable opportunity for advancement in your Clinical Psychology career. We currently have two positions available: one x 1 year registrarship and one x 2 year registrarship.

Position Requirements

• Completed Master of Clinical Psychology.
• Commitment to undergo the Clinical Registrar Program under supervision of the Director, Psychology Wellness Centre for the two years.
• Eligible to be a Medicare provider for the Wellness Centre.
• Proficient in academic writing and familiar with university standards, research, and referencing.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills; experienced in mentoring students and providing quality psychological assessment and intervention services.
