CQUniversity is seeking an exceptional, values-driven leader to join us as Director – Indigenous Development and Education, providing strategic, academic, and cultural leadership to advance First Nations education, student success, and institutional capability across the University.
Working closely with the Vice-President, Indigenous Engagement, you will lead the development and delivery of key academic strategies, drive high-impact initiatives, and oversee the operations of the Indigenous Development and Education Directorate. This is a rare opportunity to influence meaningful, system-level change and champion the embedding of First Nations knowledges across learning, teaching, and research.

Position Requirements
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (PhD or equivalent) and extensive relevant experience; or extensive proven management experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Strong understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education, including those relating to First Nations students, staff, and communities, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues within the Indigenous Engagement Division and across the University.
- Demonstrated experience leading the development, implementation, and review of new academic curriculum in a tertiary environment.
- Demonstrated record of effective teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate higher education students with a strong track record of quality teaching evidenced by student and/or peer feedback.
