CQUniversity Australia is seeking a dynamic Director - Indigenous Student Outcomes to lead transformative initiatives that will shape the future of Indigenous student experiences across the University.

This is a rare senior leadership opportunity to influence University-wide strategy, embed Indigenous ways of knowing across the student journey, and deliver tangible, lasting outcomes for First Nations learners. Reporting to the Vice-President, Indigenous Engagement, you will guide a high-performing team and collaborate across divisions to create culturally safe, inclusive, and empowering environments where students can thrive.

Position Requirements

 

  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications (PhD or equivalent) and extensive relevant experience; or extensive proven management experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Strong understanding of the tertiary education environment and current trends in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander education, research, training and/or employment.
  • Knowledge of University management, governance and quality assurance frameworks, including legislative and accountability requirements of the Australian tertiary education sector
  • Demonstrated experience in working collaboratively with Indigenous communities, organisations and stakeholders.
