Join our team as a Facilities Assistant at CQUniversity! We are seeking a proactive and versatile individual to provide essential support across your designated campus. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our campus facilities by performing minor, short-term tasks to support the day-to-day functions of each department.
This role requires someone who is adaptable, able to work independently or as part of a team, and capable of responding to varying needs across the campus. You will contribute to the overall effectiveness of facilities maintenance and be an integral part of our dynamic team, assisting with a wide range of duties to ensure best possible environment for students, staff and visitors.

Position Requirements
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, cleaning equipment and the ability to correctly identify and use chemicals.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, simple tasks involving labour, minor maintenance, minor workplace upkeep, limited grounds care skills and pick-up and delivery practices.
- Basic understanding of occupational health and safety, quality assurance, equal employment opportunity and anti-discrimination as applied in the working environment.
- Completed Year 12 without work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
