CQUniversity is looking for a GenAI Trainer to help us deploy responsible, real-world applications of artificial intelligence. If you’re excited by the challenge of embedding AI capability at scale in the dynamic higher education sector, we want to hear from you.
This role is about realising the promise of new technologies by empowering staff to use AI tools confidently and ethically across teaching, research and operations. You’ll design and deliver engaging training programs, translate complex AI concepts into practical learning, and help shape how thousands of staff engage with GenAI safely, effectively and with integrity.
You will work at the intersection of AI, education and change management, alongside technical, academic and governance teams at CQUniversity.

Position Requirements
- A degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in a technical field; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- High level of digital literacy, adaptability and demonstrated interest in emerging technologies and their application to higher education.
- Knowledge of, or ability to quickly acquire and apply knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements, policies and risk considerations relating to GenAI in the higher education sector (e.g., academic integrity, data privacy, copyright, accessibility).
