- Part-Time (0.8 FTE) - Total Remuneration $88,433 to $95,242 pa (including salary of $74,727 to $80,481 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

As a Laboratory Supervisor/Instructor - Medical Laboratory Science, you will provide specialised technical expertise across disciplines including Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histology, and Transfusion Science. You’ll manage laboratory facilities, maintain equipment, and guide staff and students to ensure safe, high-quality teaching and research. You’ll contribute to teaching materials, support assessment programs, oversea compliance whilst maintaining budgets and health and safety protocols.

Position Requirements
- A relevant degree with substantial experience in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar discipline.
- Knowledge of technology and instrumentation used in diagnostic pathology laboratories.
- Demonstrated ability or experience in advanced technical support, including facilities and equipment management, planning, stock control, asset maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and WHS requirements.
- Experience in Haematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Histology and Transfusion in a diagnostic pathology laboratory (Desirable).
- Willing to travel across campuses for Residential school support.
- You may be required to work extended hours on occasion, with an additional 15% applied to ordinary hours worked after 6:00 PM Monday to Friday, and weekend penalty rates of 150% on Saturdays and Sundays (see the Enterprise Agreement for details).
