An exciting opportunity is currently available for a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to join our team within the College of Psychology, with a focus on teaching into our accredited Master’s level courses and supervising our students.
As a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of aspiring psychologists by delivering into the Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry), and Master of Professional Psychology courses and contributing to supervision of clinical psychology students in the Psychology Wellness Centre on our Rockhampton campus. You will have experience working as a Clinical Psychologist and have a passion for teaching, inspiring and mentoring the next generation of psychology practitioners. You will have the opportunity to maintain a small clinical caseload and/or pursue research, including a research higher degree.

Position Requirements
- Completed Master of Clinical Psychology or Doctor of Clinical Psychology and registration as a Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Approval by the Psychology Board of Australia to provide supervision to provisional psychologists.
- Evidence of sustained practice experience as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Demonstrated ability in teaching, through clinically relevant presentations and/or higher education teaching.
- Experience in supervising provisional psychologists and supporting their educational and professional development.
- Demonstrated capacity to engage and network effectively with industry and community partners and stakeholders.
*This position is part-time 0.8FTE however a lower FTE may be considered for the right candidate.
