In this role, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of medical science courses, while coordinating units and supporting student learning through lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and workshops. You’ll contribute to curriculum development, supervise honours and postgraduate research, and advance your own research within independent or collaborative projects. Additional responsibilities include assessment, student consultation, and participation in committees and school activities.

Position Requirements

 

  • Relevant teaching qualification (PhD, MBBS, MD, MB ChB, or equivalent) or willingness to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
  • Proven experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervision, employing multi-modal delivery methods and contribute to curriculum development, writing and evaluation.
  • Proven excellence in research with peer-reviewed publications in international/national journals of high repute and successful research grant applications.
  • Experience in medical program teaching in medical programs, professional healthcare background, participation in administrative duties, and capacity to deliver across courses within the School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences. (Desirable). 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build team culture and industry links, while contributing to research aligned with departmental strengths and pursuing external grants (Desirable).
