The School of Health, Medical and Applied Sciences is responsible for delivering high-quality education and research in health and medical sciences, including paramedic science, and providing support and advice to faculties and divisions across a range of specialties.
As a key member of the Paramedic Science Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our student community. Your primary objective will be to conduct tutorials, practical classes, and supervise research projects, delivering exceptional education and support to our diverse student body. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant teaching and research experience in paramedic science. You will confidently manage unit coordination, adhere to academic guidelines, and consistently uphold a high standard of service.

Position Requirements
- Possess an undergraduate qualification in paramedicine and a postgraduate qualification in paramedicine or a related field. A relevant PhD, or progress toward one, is considered desirable.
- Possess a strong knowledge of professional paramedic practice which contributes effectively to curriculum development, teaching, and assessment.
- Knowledge of the professional capabilities of paramedics.
- Hold a teaching qualification or be willing to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
- Demonstrated understanding of current professional and educational issues in the domain.
- Proven ability to conduct research in areas of strength and to effectively teach and supervise both undergraduate and postgraduate paramedicine students.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with a capacity to build partnerships with industry, community, and contribute positively to team culture.
