Join the School of Graduate Research and play a key role in advancing research education at CQUniversity. In this role, you will deliver inspiring teaching within the Graduate Certificate in Research and/or Research Higher Degree (RHD) courses – supporting students through lectures, tutorials, seminars, online residential schools and supervision of postgraduate research projects.
You will contribute to course development, assessment, and the ongoing enhancement of curriculum materials, while also undertaking research aligned with your expertise. Working collaboratively with colleagues, research supervisors and students, you will help create a dynamic learning environment that encourages academic excellence and innovation.
Beyond teaching and research, you will engage in professional activities, provide input into the School’s planning and initiatives, and represent the School through meetings, committees and promotional events. Position Requirements
- A PhD in a relevant discipline.
- A teaching qualification, or a willingness to complete a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.
- Demonstrated capacity to undertake research in areas of strength, with a willingness to pursue external grants and contracts.
- Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
- Experience in curriculum development, design and evaluation, with an emphasis on flexible delivery modes.
- Willingness to contribute to School and University-wide administrative activities (desirable).
