  • Senior Lecturer – Total Remuneration $157,855 to $180,372 pa (including salary of $133,390 to $152,417 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

As a valued member of the speech pathology academic team, you will bring your clinical and academic expertise to the forefront – contributing to the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of our accredited four-year Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) course. In this role, you will also lead and collaborate on applied research initiatives aligned with your areas of specialisation, helping to strengthen our research profile and impact.

 

Working within a supportive and collaborative team, you will deliver high-quality, interactive teaching in a multidisciplinary setting. You’ll also have the opportunity to engage students in practical learning at CQUniversity’s Rockhampton Health Clinic – a modern, public-facing facility equipped with state-of-the-art resources that provides real-world clinical experience and prepares students for professional practice.

Position Requirements

 

  • Possession of a Masters or Doctoral qualification (PhD) in Speech Pathology.
  • Current Ordinary Certified Practising Membership with Speech Pathology Australia or eligible to obtain.
  • Holds a Teaching qualification or willingness to undertake a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching / Education.
  • The ability to contribute to research and/or scholarship in the School via published research outputs or engagement in scholarship activities related to learning and teaching.
  • Proven ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and/or postgraduate University students in academic or clinical settings to support their educational and clinical competency development.
