CQUniversity Library delivers high quality services and collections to support the learning, teaching and research goals of the University. In this position you will be a member of the Library Client Services team. You will work collaboratively to provide support and advice on information discovery, research support and resource use in response to enquiries received via the multi-channel online library service. You will contribute to the development and delivery of information discovery and research skills training and support materials.
You will bring to the position a strong customer service focus, an enthusiasm to work in a cross-team, cross-campus environment and you will use your professional and technical skills to support and enhance the Digital Library experience.
As part of the Digital Services Directorate, the Library fosters an innovative and agile ‘One Library One Team’ environment with a focus on collaboration, staff development and keeping up with emerging trends in academic libraries and user experience. Flexible work arrangements can be negotiated.
Position Requirements
- Eligible for associate or allied field membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
- Knowledge of contemporary library practices, processes and concepts relating to the provision of service delivery and operations.
- Excellent interpersonal, liaison and consultation skills with the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders
- Ability to use systems and technologies for the delivery of library services.
