CQUniversity’s Facilities Management Directorate is looking for an experienced Painter to join our Rockhampton Campus team. This permanent position is well suited to someone with a strong background in maintenance painting, who takes pride in delivering quality work and values safety and customer service.
You’ll be responsible for a variety of painting tasks, including internal and external building painting, minor room refurbishments, and general campus maintenance. You’ll also support grounds maintenance, event and room setups, and other practical duties that help keep the campus tidy, functional, and safe.

Position Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter.
- Knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of simple tasks involving labour, minor maintenance, minor workplace upkeep and limited grounds care skills.
- Open Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Manual handling and physical activity are inherent requirements for this position. A suitable level of physical fitness and health is a requirement and must be maintained.
- Blue Card (Working with Children), or willing to obtain.
