CQUniversity’s Facilities Management Directorate is looking for an experienced Painter to join our Rockhampton Campus team. Open to an immediate start, this permanent position is ideal for someone with a solid background in maintenance painting, who takes pride in their work, and values safety and customer service.
You’ll be handling a variety of painting tasks, including interior and exterior building painting, minor room refurbishments, and general campus maintenance. You’ll also contribute to grounds maintenance, event setup, and other hands-on jobs to keep the campus tidy, functional, and safe.

Position Requirements
- Proven experience as a painter.
- Knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire knowledge, of simple tasks involving labour, minor maintenance, minor workplace upkeep and limited grounds care skills.
- Open Manual Driver’s Licence.
- Manual handling and physical activity are inherent requirements for this position. A suitable level of physical fitness and health is a requirement and must be maintained.
- Blue Card (Working with Children), or willing to obtain.
