The Facilities Management Directorate plays a vital role in shaping the physical environment of our campuses, ensuring they are safe, tidy, functional, and aligned with our strategic goals.
As Manager, Estate Services, you will lead a small, high-performing team responsible for CQUniversity’s property portfolio, including leasing, housing, disposals, space planning, and the University’s art collection. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will contribute to master planning, drive continuous improvement, and foster a culture of professionalism and accountability.
You will work closely with the Director and stakeholders across the University to deliver high-impact estate services that enhance the experience of students, staff, and visitors.

Position Requirements
- Significant experience in commercial estate or property management, preferably within a complex, multi-site environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing commercial, industrial and retail leases and space planning.
- Strong analytical, planning, and negotiation skills.
- Experience in developing and managing multi-year budgets.
- Understanding of WHS legislation, sustainability practices, and risk management in a facilities context.
- Understanding of sustainability and environmental planning principles (desirable).
