As Manager – Marketing Insights and Portfolio, you will lead the University’s strategic marketing approach, using data and insight to connect with prospective students and drive domestic recruitment performance.
A key leadership role within the Global Brand and Marketing Directorate, this role is pivotal in shaping how market intelligence and course portfolio insights inform marketing activity across the University. Working closely with the Deputy Director, Customer Strategy, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver meaningful insights, monitor student recruitment performance and translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
You will oversee the management of the domestic course portfolio, ensuring accurate and compelling information is delivered across all prospective student touchpoints. From leading market research and student surveys to guiding portfolio changes and supporting strategic decision-making, your work will directly influence marketing effectiveness.
We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional with strong experience in market insights, data interpretation and stakeholder engagement. The successful candidate will bring a collaborative approach, confidently guide priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes that strengthen recruitment performance and support the University’s growth.

Position Requirements
- Proven experience with education product development, including product portfolio management and fit to existing strengths, products and campaigns, and the prospective student journey.
- Demonstrated marketing management experience, particularly the collection, collation and interpretation of marketing data and associated information.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with proven experience working with information sets; relationship building and networking, negotiation, consultation and public speaking.
- Experience in marketing management, including analysing and interpreting data, market trends and performance insights to inform strategy.
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward) and/or extensive experience in marketing, with demonstrated leadership expertise.
