CQUniversity’s People and Culture Directorate provides a diverse range of human resource, industrial relations, payroll, superannuation and support services for our staff. The Directorate’s Payroll Operations team is currently seeking applications from motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical professionals to join their team.
In this role, you will provide support to staff regarding payroll and casual recruitment matters and confidently perform a range of administrative services for the Payroll team, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislative requirements pertaining to employee conditions and benefits.
We are seeking enthusiastic candidates who can quickly understand new concepts, has strong communication skills, enjoys building relationships and working as part of a team, has excellent time management skills and is eager to learn new skills.

Position Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Australian salary, superannuation, taxation, salary sacrifice, salary packaging and best practice (advantageous).
- Proven planning and organisational skills with an ability to resolve problems, work with minimal supervision and maintain attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and proven experience with MS Office Suite (including word processing, and high proficiency in excel spreadsheets).
- Ability to use well-developed oral, interpersonal and written skills with a strong focus on quality customer service.
