Position Requirements
- Completion of a PhD degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to engage in the research area of advanced networking including optical and quantum communication, network optimisation, quantum key distribution and cybersecurity, and a willingness to engage in sourcing and obtaining external grants and contracts.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with others, and as well as providing guidance and oversight of PhD students involved in project-based work.
- Proven ability to undertake comprehensive investigative research work, demonstrating expertise and skill in routing protocol development, software integration, benchmarking and prototyping in advanced network systems.
