The Educational Quality and Integrity Directorate safeguards academic standards across the University, supporting policy development, regulatory compliance and quality assurance activities. The Directorate provides expert advice and support to schools and divisions, helping ensure strong institutional governance and alignment with regulatory standards.
As the Project Officer, Policy you will support policy and governance activities that strengthen quality and compliance across the University. Your work will include reviewing policy and procedure documents, consulting with subject matter experts and analysing legislative and regulatory requirements for both Higher Education and VET. We are seeking a proactive, analytical and well organised professional with experience in policy, governance or projects, confident using large corporate systems and producing clear and accurate written work. You will interpret complex information, coordinate consultation, support working groups and uphold governance standards.

Position Requirements
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear and accurate documents and build productive working relationships.
- High level analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret legislation and regulatory information and apply practical solutions.
- Ability to understand or quickly acquire knowledge of higher education and VET regulatory frameworks and work within governance standards and processes.
- Demonstrated project experience including the ability to plan, coordinate and deliver work activities or projects within agreed timeframes.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Outlook and business systems, plus the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of University governance and policy systems.
