In this exciting new role, you will collaborate with the Manager SPSP to establish and implement the initiative for the Capricornia region in alignment with the Grant Funding Schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Action Plan Maintenance: Track and update action and support plans, ensuring all tasks are completed within required timeframes.
  • Event Coordination: Organise project meetings, workshops, and events, coordinating logistics, catering, and scheduling in collaboration with the administration and finance team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders, acting as a primary point of contact.
  • Process Development: Support the Capricornia SPSP Team in creating processes and tools that enhance project and event management for timely delivery.

Position Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and relevant project management tools.
  • Experience in project support/coordination roles, preferably in community or social services.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Australian South Sea Islander peoples and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • A relevant degree or associate diploma (Business Administration /Project Management etc.)
  • Ability to undertake local and/or and interstate travel and work outside the normal span of hours from time to time to attend events.
  • Hold a current C Class driver’s licence.
  • Hold or eligible to hold a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
