In this pivotal role, you will oversee residential life operations, support student wellbeing and conduct of residents. Your ability to foster community, develop engaging programs, and handle crises will be essential to ensure a positive residential experience.

Position Requirements

 

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications combined with extensive experience in technical or administrative management.
  • Advanced communication, consultation and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients, staff and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including motivating teams and fostering a collaborative, supportive work environment.
  • Experience dealing with or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of dealing with and managing serious or emergency situations, complaints and conduct matters, including the principles of natural justice.
  • Extensive knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of legislation, regulations and policy governing student residences within CQUniversity.
  • Detailed understanding of the StarRez software. (Desirable)
