Join CQUniversity’s Finance team and play a key role in managing accounts receivable with precision and expertise. In this role, you will handle reconciliations, analyse financial data, and configure systems to ensure seamless processes. Your attention to detail will help identify and resolve discrepancies while ensuring compliance with legislative and University policies.
You’ll manage debtor administration, process invoices and payments, manage collections, and liaise with stakeholders to maintain financial accuracy. Utilising your problem-solving skills and financial acumen, you’ll contribute to the integrity of the University’s financial operations.

Position Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and team members.
- Strong knowledge and experience in accounting procedures, particularly accounts receivable and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in large corporate accounting systems and business support software, including advanced spreadsheet functionalities.
- A relevant degree with experience in financial accounting, or extensive knowledge in the field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to understand and apply Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) Guidelines for Collectors and Creditors, Office of Fair Trading guidelines, and other relevant legislation.
