As a key member of the Agri-tech Education and Extension team, you will lead and contribute to impactful agricultural extension research projects that translate evidence into practice. You will design and deliver research initiatives, develop strong industry partnerships, and facilitate workshops and events that support farmers, educators and stakeholders to adopt new technologies across the supply chain.

We are seeking a collaborative and outcomes-focused researcher with experience in agricultural extension and applied social science research. You will confidently deliver high-quality research outputs, contribute to grant funding opportunities, and communicate findings to diverse audiences.

Position Requirements

• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant discipline, supported by demonstrated research experience and outputs such as publications, conference papers or reports.
• Experience in agricultural extension and applied research, including working with primary producers and industry stakeholders, with a strong understanding of the Australian agricultural sector.
• Strong skills in designing and delivering research projects, including qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with industry, government and community stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience contributing to research funding submissions and delivering projects within agreed timelines.
