We are seeking a dedicated professional to support students on their university journey by delivering accurate and timely financial services across all CQUniversity locations. In this role, you’ll manage student accounts, process refunds, and provide advice on fees, and government loan programs including HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, SA-HELP, OS-HELP and VET Student Loans. You’ll ensure required forms are submitted, communications are sent on time, and enrolments are withdrawn where students don’t meet eligibility requirements.

 

You’ll also maintain residency records, complete audits to identify and correct account issues, and prepare reports to meet government and legislative obligations. With strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of university systems, you’ll support compliance, data accuracy and a positive student experience. Position Requirements

 

  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with proven organisational and teamwork skills, and the ability to work independently.
  • Sound understanding of government loan programs, including Commonwealth supported places, HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP, SA-HELP, OS-HELP and VET Student Loans.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, databases, web technologies and large corporate information systems.
  • A relevant degree; or an associate diploma with at least two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
