CQUniversity Library delivers high quality services and collections to support the learning, teaching and research goals of the University. In this position you will be a member of the Discovery Services team responsible for the administration and management of digital library systems and applications.

 

You will bring to the position a strong customer service focus, an enthusiasm to work in a cross-team, cross-campus environment and you will use your professional and technical skills to support and enhance the Digital Library experience.

 

As part of the Digital Services Directorate, the Library fosters an innovative and agile ‘One Library One Team’ environment with a focus on collaboration, staff development and keeping up with emerging trends in academic libraries and user experience.

Position Requirements

  • Ability to use and support a range of library systems and technologies to deliver and enhance library services, including troubleshooting issues, analysing usage data, and contributing to the evaluation and implementation of new tools and platforms.
  • Ability to collaborate with staff and stakeholders to support the continuous improvement of library systems and workflows, engaging in planning, implementation, and feedback stages.
  • Knowledge of contemporary library practices, processes and concepts relating to the provision of service delivery and operations.
  • Eligible for, or actively working towards, associate or allied field membership with the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
