• Total Remuneration $120,134 to $133,098 pa^ (including salary of $101,515 to $112,470 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading) – with the opportunity for overtime
• Equivalent Hourly Rate: $53.66 to $59.46 per hour

CQUniversity is seeking a qualified carpenter or construction tradesperson who is passionate about sharing their skills and shaping the future of the building industry. In this role, you’ll deliver the Certificate III in Carpentry, providing students with the hands-on, industry-relevant training they need to succeed on site. Your practical experience will be key to bringing real-world context to the classroom and workshop.

Position Requirements

• Trade qualifications in Carpentry or a related construction trade (e.g. General Construction, Formwork/Falsework, or Building and Construction).
• Willingness to obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122), if not already completed. 
• Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
• Recent, relevant industry experience and demonstrated practical trade skills.
