• Fixed Term (until 19.12.2025), Part Time (0.5 FTE – 36.25 hrs/fortnight)

• $47.25 to $59.46 per hour (plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)
• Progression beyond Teacher Step 4 will only occur if an approved teaching qualification has been obtained.

Position Requirements

• Possession of a vocational qualification in hospitality at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered, such as a certificate, trade certificate, diploma, degree, or master's.
• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher qualification in adult education, or equivalent. Alternatively, a qualification that enables registration as a secondary school teacher plus the Assessor Skill Set or VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set.
• Demonstrated capacity for best practice in managing teaching and learning activities in hospitality, including delivery, assessment, and evaluation.
• Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to hospitality training and assessment.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive, and quality client service in the hospitality sector.
