Position Requirements
- Possession of a vocational qualification in hospitality at the level equivalent to or higher than the level to be delivered, such as a certificate, trade certificate, diploma, degree, or master's.
- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a higher qualification in adult education, or equivalent. Alternatively, a qualification that enables registration as a secondary school teacher plus the Assessor Skill Set or VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set.
- Demonstrated capacity for best practice in managing teaching and learning activities in hospitality, including delivery, assessment, and evaluation.
- Demonstrated current industry skills directly relevant to hospitality training and assessment.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to deliver flexible, responsive, and quality client service in the hospitality sector.
