  • Equivalent Hourly Rate: $55.28 to $61.25 per hour

An exciting opportunity has become available within our Vocational Teaching team for a TAFE (VET) Teacher to play a key role in shaping our Veterinary Nursing program. You will contribute to the review, development, and delivery of training packages, course content, and teaching resources. You will ensure that our educational offerings are current, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.

 

We are seeking a candidate with current industry experience and a passion to teach the next generation of veterinary nursing specialists. This is your opportunity to share your valuable knowledge, skills, and experience – with a mixture of workshop, classroom, and administrative duties

Position Requirements

 

  • Possession of a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higher.  
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or a Diploma or higher-level qualification in adult education, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the education and training sector and the ability to positively respond to new directions and demands of the training market.
  • Demonstrated capability in high‑quality teaching practice, including effective delivery, assessment, evaluation, and the ability to adapt to evolving training sector needs while maintaining current industry skills.
