We are seeking a motivated individual who thrives on collaboration and developing strong working relationships to work as part of the Student Engagement team to provide operational leadership of student engagement services. You will lead a student support team, to guide and support students throughout their time at university to achieve their education goals. You will work closely with management to support student focused engagement activities and associated projects across the CQUniversity footprint.

Position Requirements

 

  • Experience in leading, guiding and developing a small team within a student support environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to problem solve.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, maintain and liaise effectively with colleagues and clients from all levels and backgrounds and deliver a responsive customer service.
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work efficiently, cooperatively and collaboratively in a team-based work environment.
  • Understanding of the needs of a culturally diverse university community.
  • Proficient in the operation of computer software programs and capacity to learn various University systems, processes, and resources.
