At CQUniversity, you’ll join a collaborative and future-focused marketing team working to enhance alignment, consistency, capability, and the effective use of data, insights, and technology across the Directorate.
In this key leadership position you’ll work closely with three direct management reports and broader teams to provide strategic direction and ensure the effective delivery of high-impact advertising, content, lead-nurture and automation activity, while guiding brand strategy and overseeing governance of visual identity and creative standards. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, agencies and specialist teams to guide integrated multi-channel campaign delivery, advance martech and content systems, and support continuous improvements in processes, workflows, creative production, and marketing performance.
This is an opportunity to play a meaningful role in the University’s evolving brand and marketing ecosystem, supporting enhancements to platforms, compliance, agency leadership, and audience engagement, while leading teams through change with clarity and confidence.

Position Requirements
- Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience in marketing, brand, communications or creative production, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Senior experience leading high-performing marketing teams in complex, multi-channel environments (education, corporate or government preferred).
- Strong expertise in strategic brand management and creative governance, including identity application, content systems, quality control and senior-level advice.
- Demonstrated capability in national advertising and campaign delivery, including media planning, student attraction, lead nurture, automation and performance optimisation.
- Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and influence decisions.
- Proven capability in implementing and optimising martech, workflow, analytics and marketing automation platforms to support compliant, efficient and insight-led marketing.
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing ecosystems, including the alignment of tools, processes and platforms across functions.
- Knowledge of the Australian tertiary education sector (highly desirable).
