CQUniversity is seeking an experienced and passionate academic to help shape the future of First Nations teaching, learning and research.

As Senior Lecturer – First Nations Curriculum, you will provide scholarly leadership and specialist expertise to strengthen the embedding of First Nations perspectives, knowledges and inclusive teaching practices across the University.

Working within the Indigenous Engagement Division and reporting to the Director – Indigenous Development and Education, you will collaborate with academic and teaching staff across CQUniversity to drive meaningful curriculum development and support the implementation of the University’s First Nations Curriculum Framework.

Position Requirements

  • Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in a relevant discipline is a requirement of this role.
  • An understanding of current professional and educational issues in higher education.
  • In-depth understanding of the Australian higher education context, including constructive alignment of unit-level learning outcomes and assessment, and their alignment to course learning outcomes, graduate attributes and external accreditation requirements.
